Mind Matters Counseling, LLC
With a storied commitment to serving Montgomery County's minority communities, Stefanny Sarich, LCSW-C, LICSW, founded Mind Matters Counseling, LLC in July 2023. Drawing from her experience in multicultural mental health practices, Sarich developed bilingual methodologies to address the needs of both the English and Spanish-speaking populations.
Mind Matters Counseling, LLC (MMC) is dedicated to providing holistic healing through a trauma-informed lens - recognizing the impact of past experiences on mental wellness. By offering a range of services, including individual, family, and group therapy, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, and treatment planning, MMC aims to maintain a standard of excellence in serving individuals and families.
In addition to direct services, MMC collaborates with local organizations and schools to promote equitable access to mental health care within the community. Through Telehealth sessions, mental health evaluations, and professional development workshops, Sarich and her team strive to uplift and empower communities through strong partnerships with stakeholders.
With a focus on cultural humility and inclusivity, Mind Matters Counseling, LLC is a beacon of support for individuals and families in the Washington, DC, Metropolitan area, working toward a more integrated and accessible mental health care system for all.
